Once Upon A Time In The High Line NYC

The Western look has become one of the most popular looks in fashion nowadays and one of my favorite styles. I’ve always loved exploring history and visiting locations that have an interesting past and story. Once Upon A Time in the West has always been one of my favorite Western movies, which inspired me to check out the old rail lines from the Highline Park in New York. The first Highline train was known as the West Side Elevated Line and it used to be patrolled by West Side Cowboys. The West Side Cowboys used to be men on horses to protect pedestrians from oncoming trains. Today, the Highline has become an artistic and historic recreational area.

When I visited the Highline Park in NYC I felt like Claudia Cardinale arriving from her train station in this black lace with embroidered flowers dress from GUESS, wool hat and boots. One of my favorite things about GUESS is they’re concept of using old looking black and white pictures, making it a way to embrace our past memories and history in Fashion. I think it’s fascinating to appreciate locations from our past, to remind us where we come from and to be grateful for what has been accomplished before we ever existed.
