Summer Self-Care Tips You Should Follow During The F/W Season
Fall is officially here, which means everyone is getting ready for all of the upcoming holiday events and weather changes. For some of us, we’re still in between the warm and cold weather. During the F/W season people tend to bundle up, get more comfortable and cozier. Just because the summer is over, doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t take care of ourselves as much as before. So, before you start getting rid of some of your summer self-care items, here I want to share with you some important self-care tips you should continue to apply during the F/W season.
3. Consider Waxing VS Shaving : Most women tend to get lazy during the colder seasons, when it comes to their hair removal routine. If you’re not into the laser hair removal treatment or if you want to take a break from shaving, you should consider waxing during the F/W season. Since you have to wait several weeks for your hair to grow an appropriate length for waxing, you can take advantage of this treatment since you will be covered up most of the time.
If you don’t want to invest in a waxing kit, you can get the waxing strips that already have wax in them. I like to use these for my underarms and legs, in order to achieve a longer, lasting, smooth and hairless skin.
4. USE SPF/ Sunscreen Daily : One Skincare tip that I learned from an esthetician is to use sunscreen every day of the year. Most people use sunscreen during the summer, when SkinCare professionals recommend that you apply SPF during every season, doesn’t matter if it’s sunny or not. This is one skincare tip I’ve been trying my hardest to incorporate into my skincare routine, since I’m not a fan of sunscreen.
These are the SPF SkinCare products that my esthetician recommends me, to protect me from UV rays and to prevent acne & blemishes.
Keep Your Skin Moisturized: Most people like to apply moisturizing lotions to their skin during the summer, to achieve that beautiful, glowing looking skin, but tend to not use it as much during the F/W season. You should continue to moisturize your skin, especially during the winter season to avoid dry and flaky skin.
